Churpi brings you the essence of Himalayan mountains embodied in the form of pet chew.

It is made from sourcing fresh grass-grazing Yaks milk found at an altitude of 15,000 ft.

There is no added hormones, antibiotics, or pesticides prevalent in commercial cattle.

The cattle owners rely on feeding their cattle a daily diet consisting of herbs and organic grasses grown in the Himalayan region.

You will find the main steps to producing the treat below.

  1. Local farmers collect the fresh milk from yaks and cows.
  2. The milk is then boiled to reach a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius (176 Fahrenheit) to kill disease causing microbes and pathogens.
  3. The milk’s fat is separated first and then removed from the milk to produce skimmed milk using centrifugation suitable for dogs.
  4. The milk is reboiled, Himalayan salt and lime are added to begin curdling the mik.
  5. A semi-solid cheese is formed, which is edible yet unprocessed.
  6. The semi-solid cheese is then packed into rectangular blocks in a jute cloth and pressed by heavy force to extract and remove excess water.
  7. These solid blocks of cheese are left to ferment for a few days before being cut into rectangular blocks to produce hard cheese.
  8. Finally, they are smoke dried for a minimum of 30 days to deliver the best and most healthy pet chew.

The longer it is preserved, the tougher and drier it becomes. But the best time to eat for yummy taste is within the first five to six months of harvesting.

These chews are inspected and processed to ensure your dog will get the highest quality chew.

Chews that match company standards are separated for further processing. These chews are then packed and exported to pet stores for your dogs to enjoy.

Why Choose Churpi Pet Chew?

Pet Chew Churpi is the best option for pet owners who struggle with finding healthy treatment options for their dogs.

Many pet owners appreciate the long life of these yak chew compared to the ones made of rawhide.
